Our Blood Bank Saline, standard solution is available in 1 Gallon, 10 Liter and 20 Liter containers. Standard, non-buffered isotonic saline has a pH of 6.5-7.0 and is suitable for cell washers, immunohematology analyzers and as a general blood diluent. This 0.85% Sodium Chloride solution is manufactured and packaged to meet NCCLS standard ASI/BB-1 specifications. Lot specific Certificates of Analysis reporting pH, NaCl content, isotonicity and microbial specifications are available to meet regulatory guidelines in the Blood Bank. All packages are heat sealed to preserve product integrity. Blood bank saline contains no preservative. For in vitro diagnostic use only.
