Our lab grade anhydrous calcium chloride is a purified inorganic salt produced by removing water from a naturally occurring brine solution, it comes in a 500g or 2.5 kilogram container. Calcium chloride is used during the isolation of total β-glucan from hydrolyzed barley powders. It is also used as a cross-linker during the preparation of Aloe vera pectin gels.
