The paraffin block mailer is made of high density plastic and has four separate compartments for transporting tissue blocks. Identification numbers and letters on all sides of the block can clearly be read, providing better organization. The individual cells separates each block for ease in counting. Compartments for the blocks aid in keeping the blocks from being cross-contaminated as they are separated (i.e. in event of extreme temperatures).
The container is user friendly handling a variety of block sizes and shuts and snaps securely, but is still easy to open. Container provides a better opportunity to identify missing blocks within your Final Quality Inspection process due to the blocks being contained in the unit. Great visibility, the material composite reflects a bright green color within the X-ray unit in Final Quality Inspection.
