Phosphate Buffered isotonic saline with a stabilized pH of 7.0-7.2 is suitable for immunohematology analyzers and as a general blood diluent. The pH of buffered Blood Bank Saline enhances antigen-antibody reactions in tube and gel testing. This 0.85% Sodium Chloride solution is manufactured and packaged to meet NCCLS standard ASI/BB-1 specifications. Lot specific Certificates of Analysis reporting pH, NaCl content, isotonicity and microbial specifications are available to meet regulatory guidelines in the Blood Bank. All packages are heat sealed to preserve product integrity. Includes attachable spigot for easy dispensing.
