Our Sabouraud-Dextrose Agar comes in a 500g bottle. Sabouraud-Dextrose is used for cultivating pathogenic and commensal fungi and yeasts. The high dextrose concentration and acidic pH of the formula permits selectivity of fungi. This medium is beneficial in sporulation studies and pigment production. To use mix 65 grams of Sabouraud-Dextrose Agar to 1 liter of purified water.
