Our charcoal dextran-treated fetal bovine serum comes in a 500mL bottle. It has lower levels of hormones and steroids. The concentration of these are reduced using charcoal, dextran and NaCl until progesterone concentration is less than 0.2 ng/mL. A hormone panel is performed pre and post-treatment and reported on the COA. Our serum is maintained at or below 40°F from collection through sterile bottling to ensure superior performance. This product ships on dry ice.
